For awhile, I had seen reviews and giveaways all over the web for a product called The Swerve, “the full body groomtool”, and it would always make me think of my husband. The Swerve is a “unique full body groomtool designed to give you a smooth, clean shave and the professional, sleek, sexy look you desire”. This product came about when a couple of guys were hanging out and joking about the desire for a better way to shave the back of your next. After a lot of hard work and some Play-Doh prototypes, The Swerve was born.
First, I have to say that I loved the packaging for The Swerve. In the past I have always used the typical women’s razor with the long handle and I always hate packing it when we travel. It’s an awkward shape and always took up too much space. Never mind how much I hate all of the wasted plastic and the hard to open packaging. I don’t know about you but I don’t carry scissors with me when I travel, so when I get to my hotel room and want to take a shower, there’s nothing I hate more than having to wrestle with overly protective packaging. The box for The Swerve is simple and efficient – very easy to open, no wasted space. It does have a little instruction sheet in there to help you in case you’re baffled by the proper usage of The Swerve - I’m not sure who these people are who need assistance figuring this out, but I’m sure they’re the same people who caused cosmetics companies to have to put the warning “Do not drink shampoo” on their labels.
Anyhow, The Swerve took a little bit of adjustment time for me, solely because I’m accustomed to the longer handle and, therefore, the typical motion that I use when I shave. But the razor itself was very effective and gave a very close shave. It was particularly great to use on the back of my thighs – that’s a hard place to shave well and The Swerve did a great job.

The Swerve
As much as I liked The Swerve, I don’t think it compares to how much my husband loved it! I’ll let him tell you about it. But this is definitely a product that I’d purchase for him. Plus, you can’t beat the price: $4.99 for a single and $12.99 for a 3 pack! Think about how expensive your last purchase of razors (or cartridges) was – and your razors can’t do everything that The Swerve can!
Thank you so much to Brian from The Swerve for allowing us to review their products!
