Big Eye Dummies is a line of dolls that are made for “Ages 2 to Immature Adults”. They are designer plush toys that each come with two sets of interchangeable eyes and mouths for lots of different silly looking options and lots of fun! Big Eye Dummies received Creative Child Magazine’s Preferred Choice Award and comply with all European and American Toy Safety Standards – so you can be assured your child is playing with a quality toy. Big Eye Dummies were created by David Lipson, an animator and producer who has worked on such shows as World World (PBS) and Lizzie McGuire (Disney Channel) to name a few. 
As a mom who sometimes feels trapped in an electronic world, I appreciate that Big Eye Dummies is a toy that lets your child’s imagination do the work. There are no flashing lights, incessant beeps, awkward and vaguely creepy recorded voices that only say three phrases – none of the things that toy designers seem convinced that kids just love. I can tell you that my own child had way more fun playing with Hanna than any of those toys that pre-direct what kind of fun she’s supposed to have. In my book, anything that makes her use her imagination and make-believe skills is welcome in our home!
Hanna Hopper is one crazy bunny! She’s a risk-taker who loves doing totally weird things like riding her tricycle on the lawn and (gasp) eating vegetables! Each Big Eye Dummie comes with different accessories – Hanna’s are a set of Happy Eyes and a set of Black Swirlie Eyes as well as a Yummy Carrot mouth and a..well…an “uuuhhh” mouth. You know, kind of like “duhhhh” – this one is Anna’s favorite!
When Hanna first arrived, she had a set of her eyes and mouth gently sewn on still (all Big Eye Dummies do) and the instructions have you clip the strings that hold them there and then you’re ready to play! Anna thought it was hysterical that Hanna had the carrot hanging out of her mouth! There are six Dummies in the collection and I think that everyone can find one that they’d love. How about Reggie, the crazy looking gorilla? Or Slicka, the super silly penguin?
