Here we go again…$100 Sam’s Club Gift of Membership giveaway (TWO winners…and a bonus prize!)(CONTEST CLOSED)

Adam and I posted previously about our involvement with Sam’s Club Sharing the Savings and introducing the eValues program. Please refer to the previous post for more information and also to find a list of other participating blogs!

We recently took our first family trip to our local Sam’s Club and I’m pleased to report that it went swimmingly. The staff were very welcoming and eager to help us navigate our first time in the club and they kindly showed the way to the new eValues kiosk. I’m a big sale and coupon shopper and was very curious as to how this process would work and how user-friendly is truly was.

I scanned in our Membership card and, after following a few prompts on the screen, out came a well-organized and easy to follow printout of the eValues specific to our family. Since I’m always shopping with a toddler who has much better things to do than sit still, the prospect of having something extra to try to concentrate on was intimidating but since the eValues were already determined and loaded onto my card it was actually easier that using coupons. The savings were still remarkable but I didn’t have to sit at the checkout, desperately sifting through my coupon organizer trying to find a missing coupon.

My favorite find from Sam’s is their movie selection! Do y’all know how expensive kids movies are? Especially the classics? I had no idea! Anna is starting to enjoy animated movies, which is wonderful for us since we’re big fans of Disney and Pixar ourselves. For the past few months I’ve been keeping my eyes open for sales, discounts, coupons – anything to make purchasing the library of classic movies a little less painful on the bank account. But I’ve always come up empty. So you can imagine my excitement and surprise when I found the Sam’s Club movie section and I discovered that I could save some serious money while making our DVD collection Anna-friendly.

It’s never nice to go on and on about something if you can’t share it with your friends, so I’ll get on with the good stuff. My husband and I are each giving away TWO $100 Sam’s Club Gift of Membership cards plus a special bonus prize! We will each draw three winners – the first two will each receive the $100 Sam’s Club gift card and the third will receive the movie or book they mentioned in their first entry into the contest! The winning movie or book must be carried by Sam’s Club (just pick from their site to make sure) and this prize has a maximum value of $20. This prize also excludes any gift sets, season box sets or anything crazy – just a new DVD (or Blu Ray) or book. Please note that the Sam’s Club website only shows a fraction of the titles available in stores.

To enter, please tell me your favorite movie or book that Sam’s Club carries AND become a subscriber of this site (if you aren’t already) You MUST confirm your subscription for it to count! I check all entries and if you are not a subscriber, your comment will be deleted. That’s it!
