Feeling totally, happily Holiday Blitz’d out! (WITH GIVEAWAY!!!)(CONTEST CLOSED)

Well, this week has been one of the better starts for a holiday season in quite awhile.  Heck, even Adam is feeling festive – that in and of itself is quite a feat!  This is the first year that Anna really understands what’s happening and it’s been so much fun to listen to her ask questions about Santa and watch all of the Christmas specials with her.  One of the purchases I made this week at Sam’s Club was The Polar Express – I wish I had a camera to capture her face as she watched that for the first time!  It’s impossible to not be festive and excited about the holidays when Anna’s around!

It was a lot of fun this week to visit Sam’s Club for our very first Black Friday and check out all of the great deals to be had.  And we couldn’t help but observe that the people in the store didn’t seem to be moping around or holding their wallets closed – which is what the news tells you people will be like this season.  The Sam’s Club shoppers we saw were upbeat, happy and definitely in a spending mood!  We saw people with shopping carts full of huge televisions, digital cameras, kitchen appliances and other hot buys.

And, just because this holiday week is over doesn’t mean that the sale prices are over too!  Sam’s Club still has their great Special Buy of the Day section, where every day they have one fantastic price on one item.  And keep your eyes open for more promotions and sales that are sure to come!

So, now that the Holiday Blitz week has ended, I’m curious to see if you all had any big Black Friday steals! Any great deals or scores?
