Every once in awhile you discover a product that truly improves the quality of life for those you love. The Designer Catbox is one of those products for us -read on to see why!
I’ve always had cats. We had them both when I was growing up and later, when I got my own place and lived on my own. In fact, it didn’t feel quite like home until I brought home a feline friend. I’m definitely a cat person, although there have been dogs that I’ve loved too. I love how independent cats are, their little motorboat purr, and how they are the sweetest and most intuitive little beings. They are simple to care for and don’t demand very much of your time, which works well for me.
But, I do have one hesitation and objection to owning cats. And, for me, it’s a big one.
Have you ever walked into the home of someone and known instantly by the smell that they own cats? You recognize it immediately, that disgustingly haunting scent that seems to cling to everything in a home, no matter where the litter box is hidden. My issue with having kitties around is that I never wanted to have my house be that house that reeks of cat litter. No matter how many air fresheners or how expensive the scented cat litter, I could never seem to mask the smell quite enough to make me feel totally comfortable knowing my guests weren’t disturbed.
That is, until I discovered the Designer Catbox! The Designer Catbox is just as the name declares – it is a polished, upscale-looking storage area for your cat’s litter box. But it’s so much more than just that! The structure itself is genius – it looks to your guests like nothing more than a chic storage bench, but the inside completely both compartmentalizes and hides all of your cat litter gear (such as litter pan, scoop, etc).
And this is no flimsy piece of furniture! The Designer Catbox is made of high-quality wood that is painted with durable, non-toxic and lead-free paint. Constructed with a hydraulic safety hinge, the top opens easily for cleaning but the interior panel ensures that your cat’s litter box is safe from curious children and pursuing dogs. It also solves yet another litter box frustration for cat owners – kitties often track litter out of the box, leaving a trail of it on the floor. But the Designer Catbox features an internal panel that actually prevents this from happening (and acts as another layer of security to prevent roving little toddler hands and exploring doggies from getting in there!).
All in all? The Designer Catbox has truly changed how I feel about the one aspect of cat ownership I detested. Now I am confident that any guests coming into my home will admire my taste in furniture instead of wrinkling their noses in distaste because they caught a whiff of the litter box. My cats are healthier because their bathroom is cleaner and they’re happier because they now have some privacy. Plus? It looks GREAT in my house!! The Designer Catbox is something that I would truly have bought to add to the decor of my home regardless. The fact that it has significantly improved the quality of life for both my family and my pets is a tremendous bonus!
The Designer Catbox is available at www.designercatbox.com and is available in white or black. It retails for $139.95 but they are currently having a Spring Sale and offering $30 off of a Designer Catbox!

The litter box is in my bathroom, not the bathroom that the guests use, so it will make the appearance of my bathroom more appealing, since the litterbox will blend into the decore and note be ‘the huge unsightly object by the door’
I used to have the kitty litter box in the basement where no one could see it, but now my daughter has moved back home and into the basement. The box is now in my sunroom…just sitting there for all to see. This designer box would allow me to bring company back in the sunroom!
this is amazing, would really go well in milkshakes bathroom, yes she has her own bathroom!!

It would change things because our litter box is in our bathroom and we wouldn’t have to be watching Jinx “go” while we are in there. It would like nice instead of icky! thanks! I’m a subscriber.
This is awesome! Our cat, Sodie Anne, just turned 20 years old yesterday! We have her litter box in the guest bedroom and hate how it stands out like a sore thumb. I love the idea of it being masked as a NICE piece of furniture! I know just where’d we’d put it- at the end of the bed so guests could even sit down on it to put there shoes on!
Thanks for the AWESOME giveaway!!! (I’m a subscriber.)

Right now the litter box is down by the front door (which we do not use) and smells horrible. Our house is small and with three kids spaces were limited where they wouldnt play in it. This is amazing and would help out so much! I am already a subscriber.

This is beautiful, it would look a lot better than a pan in the middle of the floor. Thanks!

This would be great to keep a box on the main floor and not just down in the laundry room.
