Votre Vu The best way to describe Votre Vu is as a skin care company that blends French finesse with American flair.  Votre Vu was launched quietly in September of 2008 with some 50 botanically infused products, including face cremes and serums, slimming gelees, a bust-firming balm, shampoo, and a first of it’s kind beauty beverage.  Within the first two months of its soft opening, Votre Vu rung up close to $1 million in sales, garnered streams of positive consumer feedback, received a silver Davey Award for its Premiere Catalogue, and secured an ever-growing sales team of more than 1200 Independent Consultants in all 50 states.

I think the best part of their website is “A True European Facial“.  If you’re anything like me, you don’t get a lot of time for yourself – much less for your beauty routine.  Before having a baby, if I wanted a facial I just went and paid someone to do it.  Easy, right?  Now that I’m a mom, I’m not inclined to spend the time or money on a facial – which means that my options are to abandon my beauty routine all together or adapt and figure out a way to do it that fits in with my new life.  I know that it is possible to do a facial at home, but I wouldn’t have the first idea how to go about it.  This section of their site teaches you, step by step, how to give yourself a real European facial at home.  Instead of being intimidating and overwhelming, it breaks down the elements of the facial into 8 simple steps (and, along the way, it gives you the option of learning which Votre Vu products would work well for you).

Amour D'OreI had the opportunity to review the AMOUR D’ORE Les Vitamines Pour Vous (GOLDEN LOVE Multi-Vitamin Oil for Face, Body and Hair).  I was instructed to use this especially after taking a shower and I was pleasantly surprised at the effect this little spray had on my skin.  As much as I love moisturizing, I don’t care for the greasy feeling that accompanies most moisturizers.  The light mist left my skin feeling soft and smooth, yet completely dry! The Amour D’Ore is so versatile – use it on bare legs in the summer, as a shield for your hair in the outdoors, or on your face before applying daily moisturizer.

The TARTE D’AMANDE Soufflé Riche Pour Le Corps (ALMOND PIE Rich Soufflé Tarte D'AmandeLotion for the Body) smells AMAZING!!  It has a rich, tropical scent and was absorbed on my hands immediately.  I would use this every day, I loved it so much!  Unlike my normal hand moisturizer, I found myself thinking of how soft my hands felt long after I last applied it.

Tout Le MondeI think my favorite product that I was fortunate to review was the TOUT LE MONDE Antioxidant Eye Gelée (ALL THE WORLD Antioxidant Eye Gel).  Make sure that you refrigerate to get the full effect!  I am definitely sporting some of those awesome tired “mom” eyes that so many of us have, so I was really excited to try this.  I don’t have time to sit with cucumbers on my eyelids but I long for that feeling of cooling and soothing on my eyes.  The gel is aqua colored and, since I was trying it in front of Anna I was afraid it would stay that color, but it faded quickly!  The gel went on cool and, while it warmed up quickly, for awhile I still had this really great slightly cool feeling around my eyes.  I’d love to use this every day – maybe after awhile I’ll stop looking like a raccoon.

Votre Vu Calm, Cool & Collected MasqueThe last two products that I had a chance to review were the Calm, Cool and Collected Calming Cotton Masque Pour Le Visage and the IN THE PINK Botanical Masque for Glowing Skin.  Both of the masques went on very smoothly – almost like a thick moisturizer.  The 3 C’s Masque is a special formula was developed to soothe and rebalance disturbances in sensitive skin.  It smelled wonderful and I’d love to have this one in my cabinet!  My skin felt so soft and smooth afterwards; even my husband was impressed!  In The Pink was both indulgent and light.  It has moisturizing ceramides and nourishing helianthus oil, together with regenerating wheat cereals and toning essential oils, soften features and erase the signs of dryness and fine lines, leaving a radiant complexion.  All in all, In the Pink was relaxing and left my face rested and glowing.

Thank you so much to Pamela from Votre Vu for allowing me to review their products!
